  1. This was painstaking, but I pulled up every team’s TeamCenter from the Season Management -> Teams view. The end of that URL is the team ID. Then I filled that in at the end of http://ical.sportsengine.com/v3/calendar/ical?team_ids= So you do that for each team, one by one. And that gives you their individual iCal feed.
  2. I thought emailing teams was on either app for Sports Management and only broken for beta Season Management. Is this wrong?
  3. Are you on Season Management? They broke many app features for Season Management. Email and standings in the app are most notable. Bringing it back is on the Season Management roadmap, though there is no ETA: https://www.sportsengine.com/club-admin/hq/upcoming-season-mgt-releases As a workaround you can email your team from the TeamCenter. Not great, but that’s what we told our coaches to do.
  4. You are definitely not alone. We have an entire thread devoted to scheduling issues with this tool. There are various other discussions in the Season Management sub-forum that may be useful to you as well.
  5. I just tried to show a dad in our league the microsite standings yesterday. Only I couldn't. Because the team names cover the actual table values on a phone. The names don't text wrap and it looks so awful.
  6. Seems to be some consensus building around the schedule list view being valuable:
  7. YES! League Athletics had both. I have meant to play around with adding the location name to the address, but I haven't checked yet if that will mess up Map integration. Plus it will make the app redundant.
  8. Are you looking for a public master schedule? There’s a way to do that documented in a thread on this forum, but I will warn you it takes a fair bit of work. For our 40 teams it probably took about 1.5 hours just to get the schedule part. The team pages took additional time.
  9. For one of my childrens' upcoming games, I cannot even load the game in the app to RSVP. For another game I got an urgent mass text from the coach begging for RSVPs via text since no RSVPs are saving in the system so the coach had no idea who was attending a game. Not sure if this is the most recent Season Management update, the most recent app update, or both. I am beyond frustrated. We can't schedule reliably. We can't score reliably. We can't RSVP reliably. Nothing. Works. If anyone has any, and I do mean any workarounds I can share with my almost 30 teams playing games this weekend, please let me know. Right now it's "send an email or a text via traditional means and absolutely don't use HQ for anything."
  10. According to the answer I got today from the Help Desk, the templates cannot be used out-of-the-box. They have to be cloned and enabled in order to be used. Maybe it's always been this way and I'm just newish to HQ, but it was non-intuitive to me that the templates were there but not usable.
  11. Under Website -> Website Tools -> Templates there is a tab labeled "Season Management Templates." There are 3 that look interesting, "!Team Page Season Management 1" and then 2 and 3. Only if I go to create a general page, none of those templates show up as options. I was able to copy the one I liked best, modify it, and enable it. But is that really the intended way to use these templates? Or is there something I am missing? I think these are the "Team Page Templates" promised on the new Upcoming Season Management Releases page, but nobody at the help desk can tell me how to use them and I haven't found any relevant walk-throughs or help articles. Has anyone else figured it out? We already have pages created painstakingly using a technique similar to the one described elsewhere on the site, but I won't argue that a template makes it a little easier. Of course having HQ automatically do it for any team not marked "Inactive" would be even better...
  12. Can definitely confirm reliability is now a worse problem. I now cannot RSVP for at least 1 game in the app. The game was added today, I think via Season Management (not the app, and definitely not Sports Management). Never had that problem before. I had to use TeamCenter to RSVP.
  13. I have a question about the team page templates- they look nice, but they aren’t enabled as far as I can see. I copied one and enabled it myself and now I can use it, but is there something I am missing? The help desk could not answer this. We definitely look forward to the to-be-released features, as well as the ability to keep rosters private.
  14. Once you get API access, there's an entire forum they spun up recently to discuss: https://community.sportsengine.com/forum/55-api-integrations/ Would love to see it more active.
  15. For what it's worth: 1) The webpage promises greater reliability. The old app never crashed for me (though it had other bugs). The new app promptly crashed twice last night as I was attempting to open it to track down an issue with one of my teams' schedules. 2) As stated elsewhere, the list interface for scheduling is much simpler than the calendar interface. On the list interface I could see an arbitrary number of days of schedules for the 4 teams I am currently a parent for in one scroll. With the calendar it's click...click...click...click and within those clicks occasional scrolling. The information is hidden behind extra steps. Please make a list interface the default, with an option for the calendar if some people truly like it. 3) A bug I have reported before still lingers. A chat doesn't always generate notifications immediately on iPhone. Yesterday after downloading the app I got a notification 7 minutes after a message was sent. That's better than the half a day I've seen before, but still not as good as Google Hangouts or any text message app. 4) Multiple coaches in our org have asked for the option for chat to send text notifications to families who opt into that. Is that potentially on the road map?
  16. All cleaned up! Our microsite actually looks normal now. That's a step in the right direction.
  17. Are you on Sports Management or Season Management?
  18. Until my scheduler fixes ours my personal calendar is a mess of dupes. I think across the system we have 20 to track down.
  19. It’s supposed to send them 48 hours before, but it doesn’t seem to work for at least the league my family is in (on Seasons Management). Team Admins can manually send them in the app. Click on the event or game then RSVPs. There’s a button that says “Send RSVP Reminder.” It will send immediately. You can’t schedule it.
  20. I agree that the schedule is FAR less usable. Comparing to a leading competing app that our coaches love, that other app also has a list view. The list view is great for our family that has 4 teams right now. The calendar view not so much. I just want standings for Season Management BETA in the app, and emailing the team from the app, like Sports Management had.
  21. Our disappeared games are back! This will be great...soon, because we can clean up our microsite. After we do the work of deleting the duplicates. The direct hit conflicts aren't showing up in TeamCenter, app, and iCal feed, which is good. But some extra games that were created when changes were made are now showing up on the schedule, which is a pain because they aren't real. But still - progress! Hopefully the games showing up is part of the step to the data integrity issues going away.
  22. Have you reached out to your account manager or the help desk?
  23. I just got an email in response to my most recent feedback. There was no ticket attached (which is what I asked for), but there were amorphous promises of fixes to “several bugs.”
  24. I thought it was overkill when one of our commissioners suggested having coaches email scores to the commissioner for each division to verify, but I guess that's what we'll have to do unless they prove to me this is fixed. Sigh.
  25. After a game was played, the home team coach entered the score on the app, per league policy. It showed up in Season Management schedule as 6 to 7. As webmaster I go through and hit "publish" on the season microsite just about daily or whenever I see new scores. Seeing this one, I hit publish and moved on. Later in the day I went back and looked at the microsite itself. The game was showing up as 0 to 0. The Season Management schedule page still showed it 6 to 7. Then I checked standings, both on the microsite and in the Division view of season management. The game was being counted as a tie. Has this happened to anyone else? The lack of data correctness in the system is a total killer! I worked around it by scoring the game from inside Season Management to 6 to 7 and it corrected the standings and microsite (with another manual push of publish, of course). It's fall ball for us, with no end of season tournament. So standings aren't a huge deal now. But in spring they will be. This has got to just work. I can't go through correcting the standings every day on top of having to push "publish" every day. I'm a volunteer, as are most SE HQ users I imagine.
