Offering multiple quantities instead of Sale items?

Recommended Posts

We would like the ability to offer multiple quantities of ticket purchasing on 1 sales item instead of adding multiple sales items.  For example, we have a spring BBQ and right now offer tickets at $5 each.  We have to list 1 ticket for $5 as 1 sales item, 2 tickets for $10 as another sales item, 3 ticket for $15 as another sales item, etc (as shown in example below) instead of allowing people to just buy as many tickets as they want and the system multiplying to get a total in 1 sales item.  If we set it up individually they have to purchase each ticket individually in separate transactions - which is crazy.  Confused as to why this set up is not possible OR are we just not understanding how to set it up this way?

Here are a couple of things you can try if you haven't figured it out already.

1.  When you attach the sales item set the amount of quantity to sell per item, (see pic) if you set the number to 6 per say it should allow you to buy up to six on the one registration.

2.  Request help from sports engine when you login to your account and request to speak to someone with your issue.  The response takes about 24 hours but they should get back in touch with you.

That doesn't work, as it will then attach whatever quantity you set in that space. So if you choose five, it will only sell five tickets and not allow any smaller quantity. Hoping there's a way to attach a quantity without having to have a separate option for each! Right now I have to do this:
