Hey everyone, We know how important it is to ensure that new swimmers feel welcomed into a program. I remember being introduced to a team when I swam in middle school; they assigned buddies to each new swimmer to show us the ropes. What other traditions are out there that help make new swimmers feel welcome and lead to high retention? Cap ceremonies, games, challenges, and swag bags? What do you do for your team?
