  1. Hi BaseballGuy There is currently no way to send a formal invite to automatically become a "fan" of a team, but we do provide a way to share a direct link to any team set to "public" status. This will allow Grandma/Grandpa to click directly to the correct team with no need to search. They will need to tap on the star to add it to their favorites list, however. The "Share Team" icon is in the top right corner of the team page right next to the favorite star for teams set to public status. After tapping the share icon you'll be presented with options for how to share - copy/paste the link, share via text message etc...
  2. RSVPs are included in SportsEngine mobile app at no extra charge for coaches/team managers. They are paid features in TeamSnap
  3. Currently, there is not a notification that is sent to the coach when a parent/athlete individually responds. They can look in real time in the app. They will also receive an email update 48 hours ahead of the event with a summary of all responses.
  4. Ben, good question. They would need to pay each individually.
  5. Good Question. Each parent creates an account which has profiles connected to it. Think of how Netlfix sets up their profiles. Each account then has a profile for the parent "Self Profile" and one for each of their kids. Your registration can be set to allow for "Self" profiles to be registered (ie. the registrant is registering themselves like a coach registration) AND/OR "Other" profiles which means that the account can register any of the profiles in their account (ie. a program registration where parents are registering kids). Here's the selector in the Registration
  6. You should reach out to customer support team. Not sure why you are unable to do that and they could help you.
  7. Hey mikekaz, What you can do is send people to https://app.sportngin.com/user/profiles which should prompt them to login and change/update any "profile" info they have (address, phone, email etc). Phone numbers on a profile are standardized with the (XXX) XXX-XXXX format. Probably easier than having them go through their registration to find it. Now, if they need to update any info you collected in the registration that isn't a part of their profile, they'll need to go to the registration to do that.
  8. When you type in a facility location, the app will suggest results from Google which when selected, will provide map/direction functionality. If you want to add further info (like field or rink number etc) You can add that in the Location Detail field.
  9. Here's the quick answer. Your smart group was created in the legacy registration reporting area. While HQ recognizes and appreciates the filters of that smart group, it doesn't (not sure why) display or edit the filters. I went and created a smart group directly in HQ with the same filter applied and it now shows up.
  10. Can you send me a DM with a link to your Smart Group. Mine looks different, but I want to try and figure out why.
  11. FWIW, not turned on as a standard feature option due to the fact that those who enter code in to it can cause issues with other things. Those who know what they are doing (do not include me in that category) are comfortable trying things out and fixing on their own what they "break".
  12. Had no idea. Nice to see you back, Mark. Hope all is well.
  13. MikeKaz, you bring up awesome points and as we continue to build out our team features we often discuss the "older reponsible kid" and the need to have them be the ones interacting. With that said, we do have a bias towards safety. We believe that parents should be copied on communications to athletes. That's the way it's designed today. One way I look at it, is first.... who is the financially responsible person? That should be the account owner, and the athlete a profile under that account. If you want the athlete to RSVP and Chat etc, have them create an account and add them as a guardian. Now, that doesn't necessarily create the experience you are looking for, and I imagine we'll continue to work out use cases and put together features to meet what you're doing. Thanks for being a part of the Community!
  14. Ugh, not ideal. As a coach, I may or may not have lost my mind. Let me ask the group here a few options: First, we plan on implementing a "1:1 chat" in addition to the full team chat. So keep that in mind. 1) Do you think we should have the "Email Team and Staff" option only available to coaches/managers? 2) Should we disable the ability for parents to individually send emails altogether? If yes, should we wait until the "1:1 chat" feature first?
