  4. Welcome back admins! Here's the rundown of what's new and what has been updated to your Bookings feature! What’s New: "Reviewed" Column is Here! 📝 Keep track of bookings with this new default reporting column. Filter bookings as reviewed or not and mark them quickly individually or all at once. Navigate Through Time with “Upcoming” and “Past” Filters ⏳: Sorting your appointments is now a snap with these new filters. Organize your schedule by what’s coming up and what’s already happened. More Power to Parents and Participants 👪: Now, there's an option for parents or participants to cancel or move appointments. Admins can turn this feature on or off, giving you control over offering this flexibility. Updates: Future Appointment Freeze Windows ⏰: Define how far appointments can be made in advance. Once the time limit passes, that time slot becomes frozen and is unable to be selected. Secure Your Schedule with Appointment Locks 🔒: Lock appointments after a specified time to prevent changes. Parents won't be able to alter appointments during this lock period, but admins can adjust as needed. Flexibility for Future Changes 🔄: If an appointment is still in the future and not locked, parents can reschedule or cancel without impacting fees. This includes selecting a new time or canceling for one appointment or many in bulk.

We've looked closely at the "dealbreakers" you've outlined, and here are several updates. Auto-roster from Registration: We hear you loud and clear on this one. It's definitely on our roadmap, but will take time to implement and is not expected in the short term. In the meantime, while we're not fully automatic yet, our current rostering tool is pretty user-friendly. Rostering based on registration responses is straightforward. Check out this helpful guide for more details: Rostering Made Easy. Recurring Events in Season Management: Great news here – we're super close to rolling this out! If your organization wants early access, you can sign up as a beta tester. Just let us know your organization ID, and we'll get you set up. Conflict Checking Between Games and Events: This is currently in development and is shaping up nicely. The new feature will allow conflict checking across all seasons, games, and events for any location. We're aiming to release this by the end of Q1. Stay tuned! Functionality from Sport Management to Season Management in Mobile: We're actively working on bringing more functionality to the mobile experience. This includes messaging teams in the app and viewing stats/standings. We're targeting a Q1 release for these features, though the exact timing is still being nailed down. Regarding matching registration data with season information, you can pull in team name and division into your quick reg report. We are dealing with a bug causing issues with that data in certain instances. Rest assured, this is high on our priority list, and our team is working hard to fix it Lastly, we would like to clarify that any advertisements are intended to operate independently of the functionality and service quality of SportsEngine HQ. @Rich Woytowich - I wrote this up and saw that you just posted - I'm sharing it with the product team, and thank you for sharing that detailed feedback. With regards to the ads, we understand that some users may want to have an ad-free experience. However, we use ads to keep our mobile app free for all users rather than charging a subscription fee. We would like to know if an ad-free version is something that you and other users would be interested in.

You have nailed a key area our product team is overhauling to improve the experience for all users involved. It's a large project in terms of scope, and it's built into our product roadmap for 2024. That said, it will take a considerable amount of time to implement, and it is not something that our team will want to rush to release. Custom Confirmation/Receipts: Admins can now set the "from" email and name for confirmation/receipt emails, making bookings crystal clear! 📧 Booking Archiving: Admins can "archive" bookings as needed. Don't worry you can "un-archive" too! 🗂️ Default Language for Payment Plans: New payment plan? We've got a default language for "Appointment fee" that will display as a placeholder but feel free to edit it to your liking! 🗣️💸 Fee Waiver Power: Admins can now waive registration fees with a simple "x." More control for hassle-free sign-ups! 🆓👌 Instructor Visibility: Instructors' names were added to confirmation emails.   22. We recently added a new tab to your SportsEngine Motion help tab within your dashboard. You can view the latest product updates easily from the "NewsFeed" tab when accessing the "Need Help" tab. Enhancements Provided admins with the ability to share classes and bookings to social networks or with a one-click email experience. Improved the on-demand attendance feature by updating it to a new "Take Attendance" logo in iOS. Added Agreements to the Booking Admin report. Updated the time range for the Bookings Manager widget in the Mobile Dashboard API. Created a new Member Bookings information view. Created a new Booking Instructor role. Added a Booking system page for the content management system. Bug Fixes Resolved an issue with member registration agreements not appearing in the Agreement report.

Watch our Overview Video SportsEngine Motion’s new “Bookings” feature is here and can help your organization by providing the tools needed to create customizable time-slots for your members to book or reserve space for private lessons, birthday parties, or other services. Bookings is perfect for: Any event that has a 1:1 relationship— a single specific date and an available time slot for booking by one party. For example, a private gymnastics lesson at 3 PM on Tuesday. Here are some other examples of ways you can use this new feature: Private Lessons: 1:1 instruction Dance instruction: Contemporary, Hip Hop, Ballet, etc. Swim Lessons: Private instruction starts/turns with Coach Sara Gymnastics lessons for specific events, routines, or techniques Volleyball coaching: Specific skill instruction Private Events: Birthday Parties Private group events/classes Large space rentals Resource Management: Court/Field reservations Swimlane reservations Equipment rentals Studio space Contact your account manager today to get access to our newest feature and have "Bookings" added to your backoffice dashboard.
