Ping-pong, foosball, air hockey and pool were among the activities offered as about 90 people affiliated with USA Volleyball attended a “Game On” themed event at SportsEngine headquarters in Minneapolis on Tuesday, May 23.
The event was sponsored by Advanced Events Systems (AES) and Southeast Security Consults, Inc. (SSCI). A brief welcome was given to the group by SportsEngine CEO Justin Kaufenberg, AES co-founder Brad Preston and SSCI Director of Client Services Kristen Oddi.
AES has been partnered with USAV since 2000 and provides the organization, which has about 3,500 member clubs, with tournament management and power rankings. SSCI does background screening for USA Volleyball and its 40 regions.
The event, which also included a menu of items from three food trucks, served as a break from the USA Volleyball Annual Meetings being held in Minneapolis.
The group of attendees included USA Volleyball staff members, regional commissioners and staff members, qualifier directors, junior assembly members and tournament directors.
