Sport Ngin's Jonah Steinmeyer, center, provides soccer-specific training.
Football, soccer and volleyball statisticians and coaches from Breck, Concordia Academy, Edina, Fridley, Minneapolis South and Minnetonka attended the fall season launch training sessions held Wednesday, Aug. 5 at Sport Ngin headquarters in Minneapolis.
The sessions were geared for coaches and statisticians who enter information on the Star Tribune’s network of Minnesota high school Hub sites.
Sport Ngin content services manager Jake Lunemann gave an overview of how to enter and modify basic team information to the entire group, then breakout sessions were held focusing on sports-specific statistics entry.
Sport Ngin enterprise account technician John Kelsey led the breakout session on entering football statistics through Sport Ngin Live, content specialist Jonah Steinmeyer led the soccer breakout session and Lunemann provided volleyball-specific training.
Sport Ngin account manager Molly McCourt gave one-on-one training for non-Hub webmasters.
The workshop was part of a continuing series of free Sport Ngin Community training and social events. Up next is a Sport Ngin User Group gathering in Chicago scheduled for Sept. 9.
