Stick-and-puck season is just around the corner, and we’re gearing up by putting together a list of the top youth hockey association websites on the Sport Ngin platform.

Hundreds of sites are potential candidates, and we’re looking for your help to identify the best ones. Our Sport Ngin User Group site rankings always favor organizations that produce and promote great content. And by that we mean news that is vital to the membership (information on registration, clinics and camps and other upcoming events along with scores and schedules).

Deeper content that goes beyond the association’s day-to-day activities and promotes outstanding players and teams, highlights alumni achievements and outlines core values and mission statements often is what sets a site apart.

Our grading curve puts a 60-percent emphasis on content (high marks are given for outstanding photos and videos), 20-percent on design and 20-percent on navigation.

Do you have a favorite youth hockey association site? Do you think your site deserves consideration? Send your nominations to SNUG Community Manager Loren Nelson at or click the Snug Forum link below and post your favorites there.
