Team TFS scraps 'plain, boring' site for something much more dynamic

BEFORE

Non-responsive, decidedly old-school design with limited navigation flexibility

AFTER

Responsive design incorporates key club branding elements and ability to highlight important pages

Who: Team TFS Softball

What: Club softball organization with locations around the country

Teams: 12

When: Site redesigned in spring of 2016

Goal: Optimize for mobile devices; incorporate USA, classroom and player images

Making it happen: Team TFS owner Michael Bastian and webmaster Liz Wise King researched platforms that "checked all their boxes" before settling on SportsEngine. They wanted a more dynamic design that would make it easier for them to showcase their players and the Team TFS mission. "It's about more than just playing softball, it's about the journey," King said. "We use the sport as an education tool."

The old site was so basic. It was plain and simple - nothing fancy compared to our new SportsEngine site. The SportsEngine site makes us look like a million bucks. Even if we didn’t have our act together it would still look like a million bucks."
