Mark Clark of Cary Grove Youth Lacrosse and Julie Anderson of Sky High Volleyball were the featured speakers as a crowd of about 40 youth sports webmasters, coaches, directors and board members attended the SportsEngine User Group Event on March 9 in Schaumburg, Illinois.
Mark Clark of Cary Grove Youth Lacrosse
Clark, who serves as director of communications for Cary Grove Youth Lacrosse and works with several other SportsEngine clients, showed how he uses widgets, mirrors and other page elements to display information. He gave a quick overview of how he uses information from registration sessions to create custom player profiles in a PDF format for True Lacrosse. Clark also showed how
SquadLocker and RallyMe page elements
can be added to a site.
Julie Anderson of Sky High Volleyball
Anderson, the marketing and recruiting manager for Sky High Volleyball, showed how she uses the table builder, tab element and other page elements to build out the Recruiting section of the Sky High Volleyball site.
The event, held at Westwood Tavern and Tap, also included representatives from Absolute Athletics, Baraboo Girls Basketball, Chiefs Hockey, Chicago Fire Juniors Gold Soccer, Mid Suburban Baseball League, Northbrook Baseball, Soccer Made in America, South Side Fire FC, Step Ahead Sports, Northwest Machine Lacrosse and Forest Park Little League, among other organizations.
SNUG Chicago was hosted by SportsEngine Community manager Loren Nelson, who talked about the Help Center, Ideas Portal, Community Forum and other resources available to help use and maximize SportsEngine’s software. Director of marketing Jim Dahline talked about new products such as PowerPay and gave a brief overview on when and how to use them. Account manager Brady Stromme talked about the multiple levels of support that are available clients.
