SNUG training event attracted diverse group, offered pizza and prizes

Boys’ hockey coaches from Totino-Grace and Simley, and off-ice officials from the Ice Forum at Champlin and Plymouth Ice Center were among those who attended the Sport Ngin User Group “Hockey Season Launch” training event on Thursday, Oct. 30 at the Sport Ngin offices in northeast Minneapolis.

National media manager Jake Lunemann (Sitebuilder), web content producer John Kelsey (Sport Ngin Live) and service specialist Kate Rickert (Scorekeeper) led small-group sessions focused on getting coaches, team managers, statisticians and arena personnel prepared for the upcoming season.
Among the highlights of the night was Elk River boys’ hockey statistician Morgan Amelia winning a $100 gift card to Total Hockey. Attendees also received codes for free downloads of Scorekeeper, a $10 value.
